Since 1959, the members of Local 1355 have been serving the citizens of Dearborn Township for Fire and Medical emergencies through incident response and community outreach programs.

We want to invite everyone out for our Annual Chili Cook Off. Last year was one of our most successful years ever and we’re ready to top it this year! All proceeds from the event benefit the DHPFFU Charity Fund and Great Lakes Burn Camp.

Our annual Open House is back! Bring the whole family for a fun day of fire rescue activities and demonstrations. The event takes place at our Headquarters Station at 1999 Beech Daly.

Oct. - DHFD Headquarters
Every year we invite members of our local and state government to participate in a day in the life of a DHFD Firefighter. The invitees participate in fire rescue training exercises to gain first hand experience on what it takes to protect the citizens of Dearborn Heights.

DHFD Local 1355 has fully certified car seat installers who are ready to ensure the safety of your loved one on the road. We will install your car seat and if you are in need, will provide one to you free of charge.
